About Us
Our Shop (P.A.T.) is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan 1/2 mile from the U of Michigan football stadium. JIm, Rob and Midge Wakefield started P.A.T. 29 years ago, and continue to own, manage and work there daily.
We bring to our shop, and DogWare; a degree in Psychology, training and years of experience in Data Analysis, a degree in the Social Sciences and a background in electronics and computer science. Plus our years of hands on business management.
The first 15 years of shop life we attended all the business seminars, listened to the 'Experts', and nearly went out of business. Fourteen years ago we decided to tackle the first order of business, and developed an electronic productivity computer (LABDOG) for our mechanics. Our shop productivity increased 20% in 1 month! Individual mechanics productivity increased from 10 - 30%!
